Remote area energy audits and implementation

Sustainable Focus is undertaking energy audits and overseeing the implementation of energy efficiency projects in remote areas as part of the Remote Area Energy Scheme program on behalf of Department of Transport, Energy and Infrastructure across South Australia which will directly reduce the greenhouse gas emissions and required remote area power generation infrastructure through minimising energy demand.

Schools

Through the National Solar Schools program funding we have delivered comprehensive energy efficiency and renewable energy installations for twelve schools. The energy efficiency initiatives include time control of air-conditioning and hot water, lighting upgrades, electricity metering and small rainwater systems.

Energy efficiency

Sustainable Focus has managed the implementation of energy projects at the Cities of West Torrens, Marion, Port Adelaide Enfield, Norwood, Payneham and St Peters, Unley and Prospect. Our role includes establishing a business case for action followed by identifying, designing and managing the implementation of projects and finally monitoring and verifying the cost and greenhouse savings. Projects have included lighting and air-conditioning control and upgrades, hot water control and downsizing, and computer power management.

Renewable energy

Photovoltaic and solar hot water installations on behalf of Councils, businesses, schools and individual households.

Rainwater re-use and water efficiency
