Rainwater installations

Installation of numerous rainwater systems in residential and commercial applications. These range from whole house pumped systems, gravity fed toilets and concrete underground tanks to above-ground plastic and metal tanks.

Community Water Grants

Eighteen out of eighteen applications prepared for our clients by Sustainable Focus in rounds one and two were successful, resulting in over $1 million in funding to implement water efficiency, re-use and education projects.

Energy efficiency in residential care facilities

Design and implementation of the Energy Assistance for Residential Care Facilities program for the Northern Adelaide Region Cities for Climate Protection program. This involved the recruitment, energy auditing and development of an action plan for greenhouse reduction projects at 10 residential care facilities.

Office energy management software

Managing the development of Star Performer, a diagnostic tool to assist users of the Australian Building Greenhouse Rating Scheme improve their office building energy performance. Designed for non-technical property personnel, this internet tool responds specifically to the users' situation. It identifies the causes of energy performance problems in a building and recommends how to make improvements.

Energy efficient bakery

Sustainable Focus worked with Bakers Delight and Energy Efficiency Best Practice to build the most energy efficient and environmental bakery in Australia. The bakery reduced energy use by 32% compared with standard practices.

Energy performance contract

Sustainable Focus assisted with the facilitation of an Energy Performance Contract for the City of Onkaparinga, covering the Council's largest buildings.
